Who we are

Prochi is a personal relationship memory app built to help you remember the people you meet. It is operated by 1801 Partnerships, based in the United Kingdom.

What data we collect and why

Account data

When you create an account we collect your email address and a hashed password. We use this to identify you and secure your account.

Voice recordings

When you record a voice note, the audio is sent to OpenAI's Whisper API for transcription. The audio is processed in transit and is not stored permanently by Prochi. The resulting text transcript is stored in your account.

Memory notes

The text extracted from your voice notes — including names, companies, locations, interests, and life events of people you have met — is stored in your Prochi account in our database, hosted by Supabase.

Nudges and reminders

Dates and notes you set for follow-up reminders are stored against your profile records.

Contact information

If you choose to link a person's profile to your phone's contacts, we store the phone number and email address you select. We do not access your full contacts list — you choose each contact individually.

Voice note audio log

If you enable audio playback on memories, the audio file is stored securely in Supabase Storage linked to your account.

Device information

We collect basic device and usage information for debugging purposes (device type, OS version, app version). We do not track your location or use advertising identifiers.

Who we share your data with

We use the following third-party services to operate Prochi:

Voice recordings and AI processing

Your voice notes are sent to OpenAI for transcription and data extraction. OpenAI processes this data under their API terms, which include data privacy protections. By using Prochi you acknowledge that your voice recordings are processed by OpenAI.

Children

Prochi is not intended for users under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has created an account, please contact us and we will delete it.
